		<description>It sounds like it could be your kidney. For years I had pain in my lower left abdomen that would come on every once in a while. I went to the e.r numerous times, but they never could figure out what it was until one time I went and the pain had spread into my back. That&#039;s when they started checking my kidneys. It turned out that I had a UPJ (ureteropelvic junction obstruction). I then needed surgery to fix it. 
So I&#039;d suggest going to the e.r.
